good job Nik! Just keep running for the Bad Girls...
Kinda in limbo here...
Don't worry about that bob. I passed ya. :)
I am finally back from the injured list - didja miss me? ;)
This challenge mallarky is really inspiriing me to run - even putting in extra miles to keep in front of Nigel and Nik
Way to go, Lybbe - you caught me. Looks like Aug was a rough month for both of us. Whatcha say we both hit triple digits in Sep?
I'm in deetee - I'm back to a regular routine this month
I wish this heat would go away so I could really run!!!
berly, Autumn is coming...we had a dusting of snow on the surrounding mountains over the weekend and the forecasted low temp in Park City was 28 degrees F. BRRRRR!!!
what?!snow??!! it's 83 degrees here with 78% humidity!
sean from trilogy running, i forgot who you were!
identify yourself!
I think its crainscr.
I'm not sean or crainscr - honest.. I live in northern Utah and things can get weird around here. Snow at high elevation on Labor Day is not uncommon. The peaks on the front range are 9-10 thousand feet. If we get another storm, I'll post some pics.
i had to take an unscheduled rest day yesterday to ice my knees! i overdid it running down a big hill way too hard & fast on wednesday....but i'm all better, so look out berly, here i come! ;)
Runningbebe.. Run, run, run as fast as you can. You’ll never catch me, I’m the gingerbread Wo...man!!!! hehe
berly: Whatever you're on - half the dose
Hmmm...Look who's behind me now...ahem...Nigel
Berly, I can't figure out how you can run so much! Jeez! Well, look out, I have some DOOZIES coming up!
Aha, Berly, I've got your number now! You run like 6 days a week and I only run 4 but I have some MONSTER weeks coming up. Sorry, you are gonna get passed, just a matter of time....
oh man, ultradad, i didn't realize you were in mission! i'm in vancouver! i'll check out your podcast for sure!
Runningbebe...I am trying to lose weight...they said running every day would do that. So I try but something always comes up or I feel I should take a break. It is working 5lbs down. 5 more to go.
Back in the thick of it, may get in the rest of my 14 later. Got a late start looking for 101 F today
Berly, way to go on the weight loss and dedication to even attempt dailiy running. I tried going from 4 days to 5 this time around and couldn't do it. Mentally and physically. Mostly mentall though. Ok, bye.
I know how to spell mental by the way
yo yo yo i'm finally puttin in more miles
Way to go, Fluffy!
yeah it's this dadgum marathon coming up. i miss my speed workouts!
5 miles today. The weather was perfect!
5.1 miles today. Felt good. SMILE
5 miles along the canal after a snowfall....wait a minute...oh yeah, that was nigel's run (i was just listening)
Check out: [link]. It's kind of an experiment...
Hmm. The missing link is the "runningwhoswho.blogspot.com"
OH NO!! Is that link what i think it is?!!!! :-D
Um. Depends. What do you think it is?
Ok, so not sure I'm ever going to catch Berly...Think I need a new rabbit to chase...Maybe Nigel?
Runningbebe: Definitely Nigel, he's fun to beat.
We'll see who beats who! Runningbebe: bring it on!
Drat took the wrong time to have a few rest days. Grr lost ground on everyone. TGFLR (thank God for long runs) I need a few
Nik...can you think of a spell to slow down Nigel, he's less than two miles behind me
Nigel...can you think of a spell to slow down Nik, she's less than four miles behind me.
Back in the thick of it.
Another 5.6 in the bag
Gary, looks like Nik has her feet up today...no spells needed!
Strange. My wife said Nik won't be a problem then wiggled her nose and went back to see to our daughter - Tabatha
I'm showing my age!
nigel - 6 days in a row?! you haven't done that in a while. you really must want to beat Nik.
Oh yes, the gloves of off now...I smell the sweet smell of victory in the air...or maybe my cat farted, I'm not sure.
omg omg!!! i just ran 15 miles!! i can't believe i actually did that. it was slow (3 hours) but i still have 2.5 months of training plus cooler weather to look forward to. I'm actually gonna do this! wow, i seriously can't believe i ran that far (this comes from a 5ker :-) )
runningbebe: maybe it's exposing who's who on this thing? maybe i should just go to the dang site.
nigelrunner, I think that was your cat- watch out, I'm not out this yet!
Fluff: Way to go!
Nik: Have you been hiding miles up your sleeve?
OK, looks like its time for some real running!
Fluffy15 miles is awesome!
you people running 6 days a week really need to take a break. it can't be good for you. come on...take a week off! you deserve it!
I just took my break and I am SO excited to be running again. It's been over a week for me and it felt so good to get out today. I was jealous of you all while I was on the sideline.
Seriouschick: You've done well yourself. You're more than ready for that 10k or have you already run it?
Ahoy landlubbers. Jus' a little reminder. It be talkin' like a pirate day today
Thanks Gary! 10k is in a month. I'm just enjoying increasing my mileage finally, after nursing a sprained ankle.
Arrg, moving back into the battle, I be down but not out
Bob: Bin' in dry dock for a couple o' day's but I be coming along yer starboard this very afternoon.
Nigel: Just pipped you Slash

Now I'm right behind you Nik - 6 miles tomorrow, you better do at least that!
Grrr... Gary you sure are making it interesting.
Bob: I have to take another rest day between today and my race on Sunday and no long run this weekend either. I think it will be me trying to catch-up next week.
Or am I bluffing?
Marathon Chris: Good luck for tomorrows race.
Gary, good luck on your race. I have Cub Scout training this weekend getting in my 18 on Sat should be interesting.
Thanks Bob. I did manage to slip out for a quick 4.5 miles today, I was feeling a little tight around the calves. 18 miles! That's two more than my furthest distance.
Thanks, GaryW - had a great race - was planning marathon pace but was little faster - just about 1 min off my PR! Now to wind down for an 18 miler tomorrow!
someday I may not be able to do this, today is not that day..
amen, martjm
@marathonchris Great run I missed Sat altogethr I'll be paying for that. had a good day but run-wise a goose egg.
Ran my hilly Kinver 10K Sunday 55:16 that's a course PB by 5'13"
Congrats Gary! Great run.
Oh look who I passed, Berly & Nigel :)
Bob Thanks for missing Saturdays 18 miler. Actually you should be coongratulated for putting the Sprouts first. I now have the impossible task of catching up with Chris and staying in front of you.
I am catching up to Maddy now...I have an advantage in that she is currently tapering!
...had to let Nik ctach up, but the gloves are back offf...
Man...I just ran a PR at my 5K...but I gotta go run again to get in front of Nik.
go for it berly. Nik and Nigel are easy pickings at the moment.
I agree Go for it Berly6412. Oh and Gary check todays run :D
Oh bugger!
I see Berly, my former Nemesis, is back within reach.....For a while I had given up on ever passing her, but perhaps this goal is not too ambitious after all! I shall be victorious!
