Edinburgh KNOWS they have it this month!! Let's go!
Oh really? State of washington does not agree.
Does it ever?! ;-)
Hey Sare! Don't mock the granola crunching tree huggers in Washington. They could..uh, not sure what they could do. But they get similar rain to you.
They could...uh, run farther than you? And that is MISTER granola crunching tree hugger to you! :-)
Okay Edinburgh? Are you going to let Mister GCTH say that to you?
Still grappling with the nike plus band. Seems to think that my 3 mile run was only 1.8 miles. Damn technology. Sorry Edinburgh guys, will get it calibrated properly and help you to the victory
I'm sorry but the Granola Crunchers don't have rain anything like mine - its lovely and clean and pure here ;-). Oh look, Edinburgh is ahead, SURPRISE!!!!
cmon other europe, aint there anyone els out there but me here in norwich uk?
Welcome, Graeme8 - lovely to have more Edinburgh runners
Just joined the Road Runner Show
rock on europe other i have comapny, where are you?
Yay - Hi Graeme8 - and welcome to the winner team!!
Been doing some recruiting :) Hey Graeme!! Lynsey, you here yet??
Toronto FTW! :)
Just joined US West. We're beating Toronto now :D
Hold tight Edinburgh we are comin' :)
guys just joined - had a bit of an ankle injury also going gently on the run up to half marathon 19/10
Hey Bionic! Is that the Jedburgh half?
ok east europe, you got me, ill do my best!! xx
Have had hectic week at work and not run - horrified to see now that we've been overtaken - will get out this weekend whilst in the Trossachs
And good luck this weekend in Aviemore, Bionic! I would have liked to have done Jedburgh had I been here
Blimey Smiler, hope the weathers better in the Trossachs than it is in Lakeland!
No weather not great but beautiful surroundings. Now we need Bionic to add his half marathon miles!
Come on you Edinburgh people - we're now nearly 40 miles behind! I'll do 5 tomorrow...
just joined the edinburgh team and bumped up the miles
will get to it for the end of the month hope the weather improves!!
Hey MicC, good to see you've joined us at last!! Windy around Arthur's Seat tonight, wasn't it?!? ;-)
Yes, welcome, MicC - are you and RicC related?
Had lovely run down Colinton Dell with Lou and Bionicman this afternoon, so we were happy to be adding 18 miles for Edinburgh
Sounds great Smiler and great miles :) Yes, MicC is my wee brother.
looks like we are closing in on Detroit, i will have to put some extra miles in this week!
Well that's great RicC, if you just keep MicC, VicC & yourself running for us, we'll always be ahead!
I thought i could help out Toronto a bit. Now we are 6th
Can't promise I'll be able to get Vic out there, but Mic and I will certainly be pounding the streets again this week!
first run in 3 weeks!! so heres 5 miles for edinburgh
Woo hoo! Good effort swampy :)
This is a fantastic Edinburgh mileage this month!
Another 16 for Edinburgh from Mic and I :)
Finally got a new sport band. Damn last one failed to record over half a dozen previous runs. Worryingly the screen on the new one already looks shot. Anyway another 8.5 from me. Final push Edinburgh!
Well I only did 3 tonight but have to try to get another 14 in before the end of Friday - do you think we might manage 1000 this month??
And then bigRahn might punish us by making the whole of the rest of the world the "other" team next month - Please don't!
bigRahn.... how about making next month the average miles per runner per team.
Sounds like a decent idea as a 'sideshow' to the total miles covered. Disappointingly, my newly calibrated sportband has logged tonights 5 miler as 4.3 miles, and Nike+ won't let me recalibrate for some reason. Grrrrr frustrating technology!
Hey MUN - sorry, that sounds like a rubbish idea to me!! ;-)
Hmmm...I don't think I can do this challenge using averages. But a Edinburgh versus the world could be done.
I can't see that being fair Rahn! I think it is far more appropriate to tell the other, larger cities in the world to buck their ideas up and get running!! ;-)
oh I thought you could do averages. Edinburgh's just fully of criminals running from the fuzzy wuzzys ;)
Woo hoo! Broke the 1000 miles!!
MUN - Edinburgh is far too genteel for that!! ;-)
you racing this weekend RicC?
Great achievement re 1000 - well done Edinburgh (and thanks Ric and Mic!)
Smiler and I just done our usual Friday run so here is some last minute miles to add! Three cheers for Edinburgh!
Thanks Smiler, our Friday runs have helped me achieve a personal best in miles this month woo hoo!
Well done lou I need to get out a run more next month myself!
That's it-Edinburgh takes the cup again. What happened to the tree hugging granola crunchers?
Hey MUN - no, no race this weekend. Looking for my next race as nothing currently planned until 2009 - need something sooner!
Well done Smiler and Lou! :) And congratulations to the Edinburgh team!! :)
