Hi,

I just discovered this site, and it looks great! Can't wait to start using it in combination with my nike+.

At the moment I have no way of synchronising with the site though:
1. the synchronisation with nike+ site is not working (it says nike+ site is not available)
2. the yahoo widget program does not work on my computer (it hangs on the terms of service dialog, with no way of agreeing to the terms of service)

Any advice?

I am having the same problem with synchronization. I've been using the site for about a month. The Nike+ site went down on Tuesday June 23 for maintenance, and after it came up, I was able to sync my run to Nike+, but not to Runner Plus, which says the Nike+ site is unavailable.

It's possible that Nike+ has changed something in the authentication procedure...

The Nike site used to be at nikeplus.nike.com, but it seems to be at nikerunning.nike.com this morning. That may be what's causing the problem.

Nike changed their API's meaning the synchronization will not work for now. Some coding on the back-end is required to sync again through Runner+.

Another solution is syncing it with the Yahoo widget. You will bypass the Nike+ website.

Unfortunately, the Yahoo widget framework doesn't work on my computer. After installing the latest version of it, and starting it, it just shows a black window with the terms of service, and a scrollbar. However, the scrollbar doesn't work and there seems no way to agree with the terms of service and get past that first screen. :/

Therefore, at the moment I have no way of using this wonderful site. Hopefully it won't be too hard to get synchronization with the Nike+ website up and running again.

cjg and Mindplunge are exactly right. I have a widget on a personal blog to display Nike+ stats. I changed the code so that all references to nikeplus.nike.com are now to nikerunning.nike.com and now I am back in business.

I have not been able to sync since early Wednesday. I had the same problem about 1 month ago. It resolved itself after about 1 day. I was really excited to log in my run yesterday since it was the best one I have had in a week or so. I hope they can get it fixed quickly.

I can not use the widget and update from desk top because I am using Windows Vista and they are not compatible.

I'm missing not being able to sync... it's ruining my placement in my challenges!! ;-) I downloaded the widget stuff, but every time I plug my ipod in and try to sync, it doesn't detect my ipod :(

I recently had problems with the sync on this website to the itunes. I have vista, but I downloaded the widget from yahoo for kicks. It has worked on my computer so far! The only thing I suggest is to make sure BOTH itunes and safari are updated to the newest version. Hope this helps vista users!
