X number of X distances IE
Winner is the first person to run 10 marathons.

Or even be able to filter shorter runs out of challenges. I'd like to do that just in my own charts. I run downtown and back everyday for lunch for a whole mile and half round trip. When I look at my overall pace, since I don't usually run that very quick especially on the way back, I end up slower than what I really am. But I like to rack up the miles for other challenges and to just keep track of how active I am overall.

I think it would be nice to have the X number of X distances or most miles over X amount of time not counting runs under say 5 miles.

It would be interesting only because of us long slow and big runners .

I like the idea. Another one on my wish list -- in team challenges, it would be great (at the organizer's option) to be able to do everything on a per-runner basis. Right now team challenge outcomes are based in large part upon which team attracts the most runners. Sometimes that's part of the fun, I guess -- just seeing who roots for which baseball team or which ice cream flavor is the favorite. But in a lot of challenges, you might get 20 runners on one team and 6 on another, and then it turns out to be a pretty boring challenge -- never a contest. But if you could do it per runner, the challenges might be more competitive.

So I see that you can exclude distances under a certain length. I didn't see that. So I guess ignore that part of this suggestion.

And Potato Head has it right on it would be nice if you could set the team challenges, IF you want to, to base the outcome on the average per runner. With additional things like maybe excluding any runner that doesn't post times, or even automatic withdraw for those who fail to post times every X number of days.

This site is already better than Nike plus(Just on load times alone. Too much flash sucks.) if you keep adding more features I hope you have a way to monetize the site as it will become VERY popular I believe.

Agree with Potato Head - but dont tell him or his head will get even bigger than it is already!! Team challenges would be good if you had the option of per runner mileage. Although I think it should be an option and not compulsory for every team challenge as some of them are all about popularity.

Pazaq has it spot on about the Runner+ site - I havent bothered with Nike Plus site for yonks, this one is more fun, more friendly and far easier to use. Although Saffers seems to have a problems posting smack...

Couldn't agree more, Saraybabes - although this site has grown so much, so that there are now nearly 4500 of us, it still feels like a small and very friendly community. I love it that I can do (what is for me) a really good run, and that then I have buddies from around the world who will congratulate me and cheer me on...

Great thoughts. I would love to see team breakdowns by averages; but then, I would love to see all kinds of numbers broken down all kinds of ways. I'm a reporting geek. It's great to have a community to keep me encouraged and engaged. Y'all rock.

Hey pepperoni stick, I heard that!! :0) sub_pop, have you checked out slowgeek.com? It has some neat charts to help satisfy your inner geek. :-) If you look at www.slowgeek.com/pr/PotatoHead, you will see an example of what they do over there -- pretty cool!
