The "leaderboard" does not update as often as the rest of the site -- I think about every 10 minutes. So the amount of time it takes to post is dependent upon where you "catch" the cycle when you upload. Also, your spot on the list is not determined by when you uploaded the run -- it's determined by when you DID the run. So if you run at work at lunchtime, but do not upload until you get home and have dinner -- you might not see the run on there at all because there will be enough newer runs to fill up the board.

for the sake of performance, we cache the front page so it is only updated once every 10 minutes and like Mr. PotatoHead said, it's based on when the actual run was done, not when you uploaded it.

Having a slightly different problem. My wife has a Gen 3 Nano (3 weeks old) and yesterday she ran and when she synched her iPod it never transferred the data over to Nike+ and although it showed up in her "history - totals" it did not show up in the iPod as her "latest workout." Well then this morning at 9 AM est she ran, synched, it transferred the run and lists it in her "my runs" on the Nike+ site but it did not apply it to her Challenge. It is now nearly 6 PM est and no change. She has lost nearly 7 miles the past two days and is not very happy about it. Any help you could offer would be appreciated.

Hey Mike, one question I've had -- does this list do any time zone adjusting? For example, if I run at 3:01pm in eastern time, and someone else runs at 2:02pm in central time -- how will that show up? The central-time person actually would have started the run more recently, but my run might "look" more recent to the website. I suppose I could sit down with a list of people's states and a time zone chart and answer this question for myself, but that might be the last straw for Mrs. PotatoHead, who already thinks Mr. PotatoHead is just a teensy weensy bit obsessed with all this stuff! :-)

ryno2bchc: i had that problem when a run got corrupt. Nike+ would never pull down the run and any subsequent runs. I had to rename the file on my ipod that was corrupt, because deleting it doesn't do the trick.

PotatoHead... LOL... you are a little bit obsessed, but who cares... lol. To answer your question, i'm 99% sure that all runs are ordered by GMT time so even if you ran at 3:01 est, it would show before a 2:02 cst on the front page. of course all runs that are run on a date that has not yet come to pass, do not show until that day. example: If my ipod was set to Aug 30 2012, the run would not show up until 2012, instead of keeping it at the top of the list for the next 4 years.

My Forerunner 50 was working mostly fine. Except for one minor Notes issue it would upload my workouts to my computer just fine. After a software update was loaded in from online, suddenly the workouts stopped showing up. It says the information is loaded onto the computer, but I can't get a graph, it won't show the Notes and doesn't even appear on the workout calendar. I have gone through the manual and it doesn't help at all. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
