I know that this is *Runner* Plus, but I think that most of us runners do some cross-training, at least occasionally. It would be nice to have an 'Exercise Type' field that we can change after syncing/entering data, with choices like 'Run' (default), 'Bike', 'Swim', 'Walk', et cetera.

I use BuckeyeOutdoors for logging all the extra stuff, and it's really excellent and I have no complaints at all! Of course, there's no "challenge" aspect built in there; if it were here, you could have, at the least, time-based challenges for cross-training.

Almost everyday I run and then use the eliptical. Then I use the "add run" button to log my miles and calories from the eliptical or I edit my run and add the other efforts. Works pretty well for me. I think you could add biking, swiming etc if you know how many miles you travel.

I track ALL my exercise on Sparkpeople.com, but I would love to have the nifty little calendar that shows what I did each day. In the summer, my running calendar looks kinda bare, but you don't see the 50+ miles/week that I cycle!

I'm not really suggesting this be added to Runner+, but sometimes, I wish I could also track my sleep and the food and liquid that I consume. On some days, I find it hard to run and I would love to be able find patterns and correlations. Yes, I know, drinking two pitchers of beer the night before a run is a concrete correlation to having a hard time. Put what about only ONE pitcher?

While I'm at it, could we also develop an iPod gadget that could record and graph my volley-ball games? Number of services, number of spikes, number of blocks, etc.
