does anyone else have the problem that your powersong is not displayed in your profile on nikeplus.com or runnerplus.com? are there critical parameters as the length of the title or something?

happy trails!

timm, that is quite odd... what is your PowerSong? It could be a length issue--I can't think of anything else.   Since you are syncing directly via Nike+, if the PowerSongisn't there, it won't appear here.

hi chris,

first i want to thank you for all the work that you put into this great site! i like it a lot!

i have just changed my powersong to "can't stop the rock" from "apollo four forty", album name "can't stop the rock (single)". i ran 200 meters and started the powersong at 100m. i also got your widget now and uploaded this run directly without using nikeplus.com. still not working.

if it is of any use, you can check out that run here: www.runnerplus.com/run/1487-63416

thanks!

timm, thank you!

I looked at your run data and there's definitely no song information being stored, so it's not a display issue. Also, it should display your PowerSong on the page whether or not you even use the PowerSong button during your run. I do see the orange PowerSong indicator on that run as well as this run www.runnerplus.com/run/1487-62336 but it's definitely not collecting the PowerSong from your iPod.

If you want, and have time, you can open up your XML run data files directly from your iPod to see if the information is in there. It's just a text file, so you can open it using any text editor. If you need more information on how to get to these files on your iPod let me know.

timm, glad you found it. I can see the snapShot event that shows when you hit the PowerSong, but you should see the following and you don't:

<powerSong>
<artist>
<album>

So I'm not sure what to suggest... try selecting a different PowerSong and see if that makes any difference.

I think you're onto something here, timm... mine isn't showing up either, now that I'm using the 3rd gen Nano. Looks like a bug! Hopefully they'll have it fixed soon.
