Ok so I'm not really Aussie but I've lived in Sydney for a good 12 years so that should count.

Anyway, seen many Aussies on this site but no group yet, so this had to be done

I've done the "City to Surf" a few times and I mainly used to run in the Chatswood area. At the moment I live in Holland and do runs with fantastic names like "Zevenheuvelenloop" or "Bruggenloop". How about you?

Hi, I'm half Aussie, I've lived here for 10 years.
I've been running for nearly 4 months and have so far only practiced. I will try the "City to Surf" next year. I hope to do a few races between now and then, but there doesn't seem to be many races during the summer. I live in the west so we can get extremes of weather (well as extreme as Sydney gets).

Hi Ande. Great for you, the city to surf is really fun, but also tough when your pushing up heartbreak hill!! At the end you can take a dip at Bondi Beach, this is the best.

I noticed something strange: your kilometers entered in your calender do not match the distance indication on the charts. Why would this be?

Hi,
I had a look but it all looks the same to me. 109 runs and 444km. I rarely use the charts though, I do that in Nike+.

How's Holland at the moment, cold I bet. I'm going to London for a month so I'll probably have similar weather to run in (or look at through the window if it's too cold).

ah ok, I understand now. It has to do with you sometimes running several times per day and the calender sums it to the total.

Weather is real crap here. Stormy and rain all the time. Around 10 degrees and it gets dark at 4.30pm , so after work its hard to motivate myself for running. Thats where this site really helps...seeing all you guys running all the time!!
