I just setup a new account and want to manually add a run. From the control panel, under Run Manager, it instructs me to click the "green plus" to add a run. However, a small box comes up with the only option being to click on "close". There are no places to input run data. My son has an account with exiting runs and he is able to add runs. Does this have something to do with my account being new?

Thanks,

Rich

Rich, it's not a new user issue. It's probably a browser issue. What browser/OS are you using? If you have any firewall/virus software running, try turning it off temporarily to see if that fixes the problem.

I am using Windows XP, IE 6 and I tried FireFox v.2. I will disable the virus software and give that a try.

I haven't tested IE6, but you shouldn't be having any problems with FF2 or IE7 (if you were to upgrade). That feature does use some fancy-schmancy JavaScript to pull off the effect, and it just sounds like something is getting the in the way. Let me know if you figure it out because a few other users are experiencing the same thing.

Chris, sorry to disagree with you, but I do think it is a "new user" issue....

I created an account to a friend of mine and I wasn't able to add a run manually. And in the very same browser I am able to add a run manually to my account.

So I synchronized his account with my Nike plus account, then added a new run manually and deleted my runs to get it working for him. :S Of course that's not a good solution, but was the only one I had.

Have a good weekend!

Cecilia, I can't believe how much time you just saved me from saying that. THANK YOU for disagreeing with me! Of course it is exactly that... and I've just fixed it! I'm glad it's not the script that displays that groovy form.

Thanks again! I'm going to have a much better weekend now, knowing I don't have to deal with this!
