The regular adhesive bandage (plaster) didn't work for me. 10km into the run, I would almost always lose the tapes. But these things stick much better around the nipple. No shirt rubbing nor sweat can remove them.

I've found that the looser the shirt and the more movement across the chest the shirt moves, the more raw i become. Agree with petergarner that better fitting shirts help a lot.
