Hi - when I try to synch with the widget - it says it cannot find the ipod. Yes - it is connected, and I have enabled disk use in itunes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled without success. Any idea how to resolve this? Thnx......

Is it being recognized by iTunes? I found that if I have "ejected" the ipod in iTunes, that even if it is physically connected the widget does not recognize it. Has it worked ever?

Craige,
Unfortunately from the beginning the widget has not found the ipod. The ipod is recognized by itunes.

You've got to set the ipod to enable disk usage

I'm having the same problem - the widget synced my old ipod (2nd gen)but won't sync my 4th generation. Disk usage is enabled and I have unistalled and reinstalled the widget and updated itunes to the current version.

I had the same issue and tried updating the widget. I read somewhere that you may need to update Apple Safari also to get it to work. I updated both Itunes/Apple Safari and it fixed my problem. Hope that helps!

Last post regarding this is 6 months ago.... The widget still can't find the iPod, and not only can't the widget find the iPod, I see no solution has been found regarding this either except updating Apple Safari or iTunes. Since I don't run my browser in Safari, that point is moot. I have the latest iTunes so that's moot too. I can't seem to upload runs going through Nikeplus recently or it's very erratic. Now I'm trying this solution and apparently this doesn't work either.

How come people can still upload their runs? Am I missing something here? *scratches head* Any help on how to upload our runs is greatly appreciated.

Have you tried a reset of the ipod? Press and hold the Play/Pause and Menu buttons until the Apple/iPod logo appears. Sometimes that helps clearing erratic ipod behaviour...

Can you see the ipod as a disk on your computer? Can you access the folders on it?
