Nope, I understand that the desktop widgets won't work with the Sportband you'll need to sync to the Nike+ website.

That is correct... the R+ widget only knows about the iPod, so you'll first have to sync with the Nikeplus.com website, then sync via R+.

I have the sportband and it synchs individual runs okay. (Not using the widget, just using the "synch now" button in the control panel.)
