I use pod runner but it is a pretty intense pace much of the time. I would say that if you are a beginner, do not try to use podrunner as a pace tool. I'm old and slow, 10:00 pace pretty consistently, and I cant match the pace for long. He posts a new podrunner weekly and has all of them available on i-tunes for free. The pace varies from 130ish beats per minute to over 170 bpm so if your in that range and you like the techno beat, have a ball.

I use them all the time as well. had to figure out what the right pace for me was though. Depends on different variables. But I have found my BPM finally and been a fan of DJ Steveboy ever since. Currently training at 160 BPM.

Podrunner recently updated to include an interval set. It seems to be built around the Couch to 5K walk/run system, but more advanced tracks are in store for the future.
