I couldn't stand the windows app/lack of Mac support for the 405 and dug until I found an amazing program called Ascent for the Mac from Montbello Software. It is amazingly better than Garmin Training Center, and while it doesn't directly support the 405 yet, you are able to export a file from GTC on the windows (Parallels/Fusion side) and reimport into Ascent on the Mac side. For the first time I was able to see what a Mac can truly do with all that data.

Runner+ together with Ascent gives me all I need.

Just wanted to share

P.S. full support for 205/305

I tried this with my Garmin 205. Beautiful. A Must Have, 40 USD something.

Oh. My. God. Thank you for the link. I'm buying a license right now. This is simply an AMAZING app. If you are a Mac and a Garmin user, you should at least try it.

I've been using it for a couple of months now, and it's great. The software is also updated frequently, which is cool.

I've already 2 in my dock: Ascent and Trailrunner. The first is the best. The second can sincronize data also from ipod.

Seems quite good. Although I'll be honest and say I'm not sure I'll keep using one I have bootcamp up & runing. I'll switch to SportTracks running under windows.
