I also plan to use it with new Iphone. For now I use Nike+ with Ipod Touch 2nd generation and I really enjoy it, much better interface than with Nano.
I just wanted to know if anyone used it with Iphone, how it works if you get a phone call during your race. Does Nike+ system go on to record data or does it stop ?

Wow, I don't think I would wanna take my iphone with me on a run, but my 1st Gen has the option of switching on 'airplane mode' which disables the phone part of it - you wouldn't get any phone calls that way but all else functions normally - presumably the later models have a similar function.

I have the Iphone and to my knowledge it is not compatible with Nikeplus. Only the Nanos and ITouch 2nd gen. are compatible.

Yes it is compatible with the new iPhone 3GS and will continue to record data while taking a call. And I find that if I leave it uncalibrated I get the best accuracy measured aginst my Garmin

JM_runner: That is why I would never run without a case with a belt clip. I ran once with just my case but found it awkward to run the phone in my hand.

With the 3Gs you also get the new ear buds with the controls on them.

Single Click pauses/resumes your workout
Double Click goes to the next song.
I wish you could triple click it and get the feedback.

Instead of opening a new post I ask my iPod related question here.

My iPod is starting showing wrong data in terms of distances. Could it be possible that these are signs of transmitter going flat?
Today it showed a very slow pace and instead of 5kms was showing 3 and a few times I checked was reporting 0 kmh speed.

Thanks!

Couple of things to try/check:
- is the sensor still snug in place (I had a tiny pebble beneath it at one point which totally killed the results)
- have you reversed the sensor recently?
- have you tried a soft reset of your ipod?

Hi Jimsum, I tried with the reset but about the reversing the sensor I am not sure if I got you. You mean I placed it upside down? Thanks!
