Saw this on the Nikeplus.com site last night. I've signed up to "save" my spot for the race on the 31st Aug 08.

Anyone know anything else about this race, as the video on the NikePlus site isn't especially helpful?
Is this replacing the Run London race this year?
Anyone else signed up to run?

London will see revellers party all over the city and then dancing in Wembley Stadium to huge acts - Date Aug TBC" Looks like the same thing and could be big !!.. I've signed up!!

just another note on this race -- I did a 10k race here in the city, and a bunch of people had red shirts saying, "What will you be doing on 08.31.08" and then on the back said nikeplus.com. It was actually a pretty cool t-shirt!

BeerRunner, you have to fly from Sydney to join us in Melbourne, the race will be here along the Yarra river. The register date hasn't been appointed yet, keep an eye out for it on the nike site then.
