Skitterwalk's Jog Log:

Attempt at tempo run... sucked in more than I could breath(equivalent of biting off more than I could chew).

After the first mile, I went past 2nd asthma breath and well into 3rd and 4th. When I breath out, I'm not quite done...

I'm posting this at 2 in the afternoon... run was at 6:20 a.m. and my lungs are still hot.

I do believe that I did a little better than last week.

Just got back from seeing our youngest daughter... ultrasound... big feet like her dad.... she's got feet!

A little better? You knocked 29 seconds off your best mile! You were a 1:04 faster over our two tempo miles than one week ago. AND your warm-up mile was almost at our marathon goal pace. AND your cool-down was still sub-10:00.

Now, if I could just not worry that your lungs were going to implode doing it. It would help if you wouldn't use words like "barking" and "whistling" to describe breathing, but those are actually pretty accurate descriptions from hearing it first hand.

I don't know whether to say "Please be careful!" or "Amazing run!" I think both.

I would be doing more than barking or whistling if I ran that fast. Good job!
